| Job Description: |
The candidate will work closely with the IT administrators and functional ERP & Data Warehouse teams to support our existing SAP & BAAN environments and related new initiatives. The position will also strive to identify opportunities and implement technical solutions that improve business unit performance by exploiting our investment in SAP and BAAN. Strong technical, analytical, project management, change management and interpersonal skills are essential for this position Provide SAP & BAAN Technical Leadership and System architecture expertise.
*Manage team of administrators to support global SAP & BAAN systems 24 X 7 availability to user community.
*stablish / modify strategy, standards and procedures for SAP & BAAN technical administration and systems integration.
*Remain aware of leading practices and research SAP & BAAN technology trends.
*Provide SAP & BAAN technical expertise and guidance to the ERP/Business Systems team and business unit managers through education and training.
*Manage disaster recovery systems for ERP and CPM applications and synchronize them with primary systems. . Manage storage, database, backups and annual restore tests for all ERP and CPM applications.
*Direct the work of the SAP Basis administration, BAAN ERP administration, UNIX systems and database administration.
*Work collaboratively with business users and members of the global IS team to support and monitor the technology components of the SAP-ERP, SAP-BI, SAP-GRC, Cognos BI & BAAN ERP environments.
